COMPANY PROFILE ESTABLISHMENT Adonay Ethiopia Travel is a private organization established in April 2004 by professional tour operator who has been working in the travel business for several years. We are ideally located in Addis Ababa, Adonay Ethiopia is fully licensed and recognized by the Federal Democratic Republic Government of Ethiopia to engage in all kinds of Tours and Travel activities throughout Ethiopia. ACTIVITIES Adonay Ethiopia is fully engaged in Tour Operation, car rental services and Air ticketing. Adonay, staffed with 9 permanent or full time professional and competent employees who are working at the Head and over 50 contract field workers for different places. Our office is fitted with the necessary facilities and automated equipment, provides it services in the following: 1) Air Ticket Sales for international and domestic flights. 2) Hotel booking in suitable hotels. 3) Car Rental Services. 4) Tour Operation to: A) Historic Places namely to: Axum, Lalibela, Gonder, Bahr Dar etc (Cultural) B) Resort Areas visit to: Natural Parks, Bird Watching, Wildlife etc (Nature), Trekking in the Semien, East Omo, and West Omo C) Trekking in Siemen Mountains and Maji plains etc (Sports) D) Volcano tours/Afar Region, to the Danakil, Dallol and Ertale E) Harar, and the Bale Mountain. TOUR OPERATIONS Adonay Ethiopia has professional tour operators and guides who can speak several international languages including English, Spanish, French, Italian and German. They also have a long time experience in the field. In fact, our Tour Dept. staffs are highly qualified in the field with several years of experience that enables them to do their job efficiently. We are well managed to assist incoming and returning tourists on arrival and departure and by working as a guide to various places of interest. THE MANAGEMENT -PROFESION AND EXPERIENCE Adonay Ethiopia Travel is owned and managed by professionals Mr. Dereje Dibaba; Graduate of Business (1994) and Tour Management(1998); Managing Director, working in Tourism business as Professional Guide and Tour Operations till the establishment of Adonay Ethiopia nearly 5 years ago and since April 2004 Mr. Dereje is working as a top management group of Adonay Ethiopia Travel; VEHICLES Adonay Ethiopia is well equipped with field vehicles that are quite reliable and also comfortable. These are: Four Wheel Drive Vehicles, Mini buses, Coaster buses etc. The vehicles are all insured on comprehensive motor insurance basis and are well maintained for reliable travels. All the drivers speak English and are quite helpful and polite. CAMPING EQUIPMENT Adonay Ethiopia Travel has adequate camping materials such as tents, sleeping bags, chairs, tables, cooking utensils, gas etc. suitable for the users. We also have professional cooks to prepare food for Tourists whenever the trip involves camping. BRANCH OFFICES The Head Quarters of Adonay Ethiopia Travel is in Addis Ababa. However, it has good guides who accompany the tourists to everywhere they go and in addition to this it has assigned agents in almost all places to be covered by the programs that we conduct especially to the Historic Routes in the North and the cultural mosaic; the Omo Valley. The guides are committed to make the visitors' stay a happy and unforgettable one. PRODUCTS Adonay Ethiopia Travel is at present marketing 34 core products to tourists However, further quotations out side these can also be made on request. HOTELS Adonay Ethiopia Travel has an excellent contact with a good number of hotels within the city of Addis Ababa as well as outside. Outside Addis, we use both government and private hotels and these are mostly Bekelle Molla and Wabi Shebelle Hotels that have chain hotels here and there. At times, accommodation is also made at Sai and Ras Hotels. All the above named hotels are quite suitable for resort area visitors in the Rift Valley but for visits of the Historic Route, we use Yeha in Axum, Goha in Gonder, Roha in Lalibela, Tana in Bahr Dar, and Axum in Mekele etc. Most of them have good scenery to green mountains, trees, rivers, lakes, gorges and valleys.
