Overview

EIFDDA was initiated in 1999 as a country-level extension of religions peace and formally registered in 2006 as an alliance of Faith Based Organizations (FBOs) in Ethiopia. EIFDDA brings together on various issues of common concern. EIFDDA also intends to engage in integrated livelihood programs through its member FBOs. Comprised of Faith-based organizations representing the majority of faiths in Ethiopia. EIFDDA brings religious institutions of different backgrounds together to discuss the problems plaguing their communities and to devise ways to work together to address them. Through these development actions, EIFDDA aims to strengthen interfaith collaboration.
