Support and Care for People with Disabilities Association (SCPDA) is deeply committed to reducing the consequences of poverty at Bishoftu town in Oromya Region. Our aim is to provide inclusive education for visually impaired children and to create suitable income generating self-employment opportunities for unemployed persons with Disabilities and offering village based projects that positively impact education, and income generation, while preserving and respecting the rich culture and traditions of the Oromo people.

Support and Care for People with Disabilities Association was established in 2012 to assist Persons with Disabilities. Since then, SCPDA has been trying to reach out visually impaired children at Bishoftu (Debrezeyt), in Kebele 08, and opened its office at Kebele 02 of Nefas Silk Lafto Sub-City, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
SCPDA has been providing different services such as employment opportunities through income generating self-employment, educational, health care, mobility aid, nutrition, and transportation support for Persons with Disabilities, male and female. Social Workers meet with Persons with Disabilities and their families and offer psycho-social counseling support.
