Mahi Difu Community Development Organization is Non-profit, non- religious, Non political development oriented Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) which has been operating in Afar National Regional State with aim of to contribute its owneffort in solving social and economic problem of pastoral and semi pastoral communities’ problem.
The rationale behind the establishment of Mahi Difu Community Development Organization is to play its own role in the improvement of the economic and social problems of the poor and marginalized pastoral and semi pastoral communities. In order to improve the economic and social problems of the community, the organization is using participatory approach with all concerned bodies. The approach emphasizes on existing potentials and resources in the community. As there is great potential of resources in the community, Mahi Difu will strive to contribute its role so as to eradicate the economic and social problems of the poor and marginalized pastoral and semi pastoral communities by combining these resources and potentials.
